Schedule: 24-Hour Shifts, 5–7 Days per Week

A long-time VIP family who recently relocated to beautiful Santa Barbara is seeking an experienced and professional Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to provide round-the-clock care for their newborn (5th child). This is a fully staffed household including a nanny, housekeepers, and a chef. The family values discretion, professionalism, and seamless collaboration within their home.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned NCS with 10+ years of hands-on newborn experience, particularly in ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) or VIP households. You must be comfortable working in a formal environment with a high level of attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork.

You will be responsible for all aspects of newborn care including feeding, sleep training, hygiene, establishing routines, and parental support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 24-hour care for a newborn, including overnight monitoring (sleep break will be 9:00a-1:00p)

Support healthy sleep habits and implement sleep training when appropriate

Bottle feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing the infant

Maintain detailed logs of the baby’s schedule and milestones

Monitor baby’s health and development, and report any concerns

Coordinate with existing household staff and maintain a team-oriented approach

Offer guidance and support to the parents as needed

Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment


Able to commit to a 24/5–24/7 schedule for the duration of the 4-month contract
