Door Hearts For Valentine’s Day

This activity is one of our favorites to do with kids to help build self-esteem! The steps to do this are super simple. All you need is some construction paper!

Start by cutting out little paper hearts in festive colors (pro tip: print out a stencil) and start to write various words of affirmation specific to your child and what you love about them. Sticking to encouraging, motivating words makes this activity more meaningful.

Tape one heart cut out to their door each night of February leading up to Valentine's Day. This is a great activity to do with the whole family. Watch our video below to see a step-by-step guide. Have you tried this activity before? Let us know in the comments, we'd love to hear from you!
